Generate the Pattern

Click Generate Pattern. The engine resolves the component dependency graph, evaluates every formula, and returns mathematically precise SVG sewing patterns — all in under a second.

Adjust & Refine

Toggle seam allowance on or off and adjust the width. The pattern instantly recalculates, giving you the cutting line offset from the sewing line at any value you choose.

Parametric Geometry

Every point on every pattern piece is defined by a formula, not a hand-drawn curve. Change a measurement and the entire pattern recalculates — seams, darts, curves, and all.

account_tree

Component DAG

Complex assemblies (e.g. bodice + sleeve + collar) are resolved as a directed acyclic graph. Upstream pieces export values (armhole arc length, neckline length) that downstream pieces consume as inputs.

open_in_full

Ease Parameters

Ease — the extra room added beyond body measurements for comfort and movement — is a first-class parameter. The default ease matches industry standards, but you can set any value or remove it entirely for a skin-tight fit.

border_outer

Seam Allowance

The cutting line is computed by offsetting the sewing line outward using the outward normal of each edge. Corners are mitered automatically. The result is always a valid closed polygon, ready to cut.
