Ready to cutEvery point on every pattern piece is defined by a formula, not a hand-drawn curve. Change a measurement and the entire pattern recalculates — seams, darts, curves, and all.
Complex assemblies (e.g. bodice + sleeve + collar) are resolved as a directed acyclic graph. Upstream pieces export values (armhole arc length, neckline length) that downstream pieces consume as inputs.
Ease — the extra room added beyond body measurements for comfort and movement — is a first-class parameter. The default ease matches industry standards, but you can set any value or remove it entirely for a skin-tight fit.
The cutting line is computed by offsetting the sewing line outward using the outward normal of each edge. Corners are mitered automatically. The result is always a valid closed polygon, ready to cut.
